Meet Derrick and Alessandra, the duo behind GTA Transmission.
Derrick has spent over three decades working with transmissions—this is what he knows best. He’s a fully licensed 310D transmission technician who’s worked everywhere from small independent shops to big-name franchises. After years of seeing upsells, pressure tactics and poor workmanship, he knew there had to be a better way. Before opening GTA Transmission, he spent almost 15 years with AAMCO in Brampton, where he earned a reputation for doing the job right, with honesty, skill and consistency. His technical knowledge is the backbone of our shop.
Alessandra, with a background in administration and journalism, brings the structure and soul that keep things running smoothly up front. In 2014, the two of them opened GTA Transmission with a clear mission: to build a shop based on trust, transparency and care—the kind of place they’d want their own family to go to.

Excellent and speedy service! I have a 2015 Ford Focus and my clutch got destroyed. Ford told me they wouldn't be able to get me in for a month and a half. GTA Transmission Repair Corp. got me in that same day. They were able to diagnose and repair my issue within a week, even taking into account my need to have my car back before the weekend.
