GTA Transmission Overhaul Warranty - Terms and Conditions
We offer two levels of Limited Warranty coverage for our Transmission Overhaul Services. The applicable warranty will be listed on your invoice.
Warranty Options:
A) 12-Month/20,000 Kilometre Limited Warranty
This is our standard warranty. It covers your rebuilt transmission and torque converter for 12 months or 20,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
B) 12-Month/Unlimited Kilometre Limited Warranty (Occasional Offer)
This warranty covers your rebuilt transmission and torque converter for 12 months with no kilometre limit.
Please note: This is a limited-time or promotional offer and may not be available at all times. If this warranty applies, it will be indicated on your invoice.
Limited Warranty Coverage
GTA Transmission Repair warrants the transmission/transaxle and torque converter against defects in materials or workmanship.
Who is Covered
This warranty applies to the customer listed on the invoice. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer listed on the invoice
Terms and Conditions
Your vehicle’s transmission/transaxle has been rebuilt by GTA Transmission Repair. This warranty outlines the coverage you receive under our Limited Warranty Service Agreement (hereafter referred to as "Warranty").
Key Terms

"You"/"Your" – The customer listed on the invoice.

"We"/"Us"/"Our" – GTA Transmission Repair.

"Assemblies" – Transmission/transaxle and torque converter for vehicles with automatic transmissions.

"Breakdown" – Failure of the assemblies due to defective materials or workmanship.

"Kilometres" – Actual kilometres recorded on an unaltered odometer.

"Invoice Date" – The date of service completion as shown on your invoice.
What This Warranty Covers
We will repair or replace the transmission/transaxle and torque converter at no charge if they fail due to defective materials or workmanship. To claim warranty service, return your vehicle to GTA Transmission Repair with your invoice.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:

Failures caused by electrical components (e.g., computers, actuators, sensors, solenoids).

Contamination from foreign debris (e.g., fluids, particles, dirt).

Alternate transportation, towing, or travel expenses while the vehicle is being repaired.

Damage to other vehicle components not serviced by GTA Transmission Repair.
Warranty Void If:
This warranty is null and void if the vehicle:

Has a manual transmission.
-
Is converted from a passenger vehicle to a commercial vehicle.
-
Exceeds one (1) ton in rating.
-
Is used for racing, off-road, towing, or emergency services.
-
Has an altered or stopped odometer.
-
Has failures due to collision, fire, flood, vandalism or neglect.
-
Is modified to plow snow or used for rental, taxi, or transport services.
-
Has unauthorized repairs or outstanding payments for the original repair.
Your Responsibilities
If a breakdown occurs, notify us immediately and take all reasonable steps to protect your vehicle from further damage.
Additional Disclosure
We reserve the right to void this warranty if the vehicle is modified in a way that increases its gross weight or carrying capacity.
